We were a little bit surprised by reports that Justin Timberlake would be co-starring alongside his former flame Cameron Diaz in the upcoming movie Bad Teacher.

Then we realised he’s been with his current girlfriend Jessica Biel for donkey’s years and we’re all grown ups here so what’s the big deal? We could probably work with an ex if we were getting paid handsomely, which we’re guessing they both are.

Then we found out that not only will they be working with each other day in day out but they’ll also have to film what has been described as an “awkward sex scene” when Justin and Cameron’s characters find themselves alone in a hotel room.

Can you even begin to imagine how Justin pitched this new movie role to Jessica? Do you think he said something along the lines of, ‘Hey babe, I got this new movie role coming up and it sounds great… Oh and did I mention I’ve gotta *cough* shag my ex-girlfriend *cough-cough* in it? That’s cool right?’

Having produced a very successful perfume for women, which he called Unconditional, Peter Andre and his management team have now decided to make a fragrance for men.

The singer – who we spotted out and about in Manchester ahead of his concert - is hoping that the aftershave will be as popular as his scent for women, which he claims is so sought after that “one bottle sells every 35 seconds”. Speaking about the new manly scent, Pete said:

"I'm planning to launch it just before Father's Day (20th June) in the UK so all you ladies have to go out and buy it for that very special man in your life."

With no discernable talent it’s hard to imagine why somebody like Heidi Montag would need a manager.

However, it’s just been reported that the former Hills star has parted ways with her current team (aka Spencer Pratt) and enlisted the help of Malibu-based psychic Aiden Chase.

“No longer is my husband the face of my business or managing my career” Heidi confirmed, before adding, “I am going to have Aiden Chase help manage my new life and career in a very different and positive way with light and love.”

Has she totally lost it? Actually don’t answer that question, lets not even go there, it’s far more entertaining to read yet another deluded quote:

“The time for change is now. Never mix business and pleasure. We are no longer Speidi but Spencer and Heidi”

“I am so excited for my future and the bright successes coming my way.”

Okay, whatever she’s on we want some, it must be fun living in another dimension.

Renee Zellweger may be as dull as ditchwater, but unlike many celebrities at least she’s a nice, down-to-earth lady.

Just yesterday for instance the actress ended up kindly rewarding a photographer who’d topped up her parking meter for her while she was buying a coffee in a nearby shop.

Renee hadn’t realised her meter was about to expire, but luckily a passing photographer had managed to spot it, so he decided to chuck a few coins in the machine.

The Bridget Jones star was so touched by his act of generosity that she ended up giving him a $100 Starbucks voucher, on the back of which she wrote this message:

'Wow. Thank you so much for the kindness. Warmly, with gratitude. Renee.'

Personally we would’ve preferred to just have the cash, but you can’t have everything can you?

Another day, another set of pictures of the X Factor contestants out and about in Newcastle…

John and Edward were in a particularly hyperactive mood (no change there then!) when we spotted them leaving their hotel this morning, while all the others looked pretty goddamn knackered.

We were getting very excited at the prospect of Cheryl Cole performing on the Radio One’s Live Lounge tomorrow afternoon but we’ve just heard reports that she’s cancelled!

A spokesman for Radio One confirmed:

“Bad news I'm afraid: Cheryl's had to cancel tomorrow's live lounge performance as she's poorly.”

While there’s no official confirmation whether she’s cancelled her appearance on Jonathan Ross as well it seems pretty unlikely that she’d cancel one and then appear on the other. Rubbish.

These photos may be a bit old by now, but what does that matter eh? For some reason we had a strong suspicion you’d like to waste approximately five minutes of your day by having a flick through these shots of Big Brother 7’s Pete Bennett getting married to a girl called Cherry Costin in the most insane fancy dress ceremony we’ve ever seen.

The Alice In Wonderland themed wedding – which was held in a circus tent in Brighton – was all filmed for Living TV’s reality show Four Weddings and was attended by a variety of people who’d gone to amazing lengths to dress up – except for former BB contests Aisleyne Horgan Wallace and Gerry Stergiopoulos that is, both of whom looked as though they couldn’t be arsed to splash out on a costume.

The strangest part of the ceremony (aside from the costumes/guests that is) according to Aisleyne was Pete’s speech. She said:

"Pete's speech was mental. I think a few guests were pretty shocked by it all, but it was really fun.”

Well he has got Tourette's, hasn’t he?
