Hows this out for unique ... the V&A Waterfront in da Mudda City's setting up a spesh floating water-stage for the holiday season. The stage will be in the actual harbour and all the performances are gonna happen on it, as it floats.
Obviously it'll be anchored so it won't float away (ha). So where will the audience be? Seated on a 2000 seat raked auditorium that faces it.
The line-up of stars who'll be performing on different nights include Ladysmith Black Mambazo, The Parlotones, Judith Sephuma, Johnny Clegg and Freshlyground; and there's a special tribute show to Miriam Makeba.

It's all happenin' in combo with the Aquarium so the tickets give access to the waterworld, that'll have food stores, booze and pre-show vibe. Ticket prices vary for the different shows. Bookings are at computicket or on the festivals website: www.aquafestival.com.
