The fourth and final in our series of themed galleries from the 2009 Emmy Awards, these shots are of celebs backstage after the award ceremony, clutching their spoils and barely containing their glee.

We've always wondered - what do two big stars say to each other when they meet for the first time, eg. backstage at the Emmys? There's no point introducing themselves - each already knows the other.

No wonder they all drink like fishes.
