On Saturday (6 February) a buzz of hopeful actors turned up to the Cape Town stint of auditions for the new acting reality show Class Act.
Everyone who arrived had to perform a solo act for the judges while actor Kenneth Nkosi struck classy poses for us: one moment he was giving us the "are you lookin' at me??" Clint Eastwood glare, then he got suspicious, then he turned sexy, then he jumped onto a movie truck and stunt-sped away.
K.'s hosting the show that's searching for one leading man whose gonna win: a starring role in a TV commercial, a profesh. agent and an acting course in New York.
The show debuts on SABC1 in March.
Update! A video of the auditions is now live on TVSA. A link to get there: Class Act Video.

Actress, singstress and mover-and-shaker Khabonina Qubeka recently hosted a bash to celebrate her 29th birthday at Brown Sugar in Woodmead, Jozi.
She performed trax from her latest album Gama Lahko to a bevvy of hot-tamale dancers and clingy dudes, while guests exploded moves on the dancefloor.
Her fantasy threads included: siren underwear, a soccer outfit and a black, super-flexi leotard - one moment she was standing up straight in it and the next she let out a high note and collapsed into splits (see proof in gallery).
Snaparazzo Koketso Makumula was in the heatt of the party and snatched us these action close-ups:

13 sets of moobs* came out to play on Thursday night (28 Jan) when Cosmo hosted the magazines annual Sexiest Man showdown at The Venue, Melrose Arch in Jozi.
You may remember we spilt the 13-beefcakes who appear in the Cosmo 2010 calendar. The calendar was released in the January issue of the mag, readers voted for their faves and on Thursday the title went to Mr May: rugby player Wynand Olivier.
Runners-up were: model Bryce Thompson (Mr January 2010) in 2nd place and All Access host Ewan Strydom in 3rd. As you can see everyone celebrated their victory by caressing each other's chests in a scrum of bubbly.

Fash fact: Wynand Olivier needs a fash thrash for those flipflops. We don't Do toes on dudes ... unless they're at the beach or between the sheets - even then we'd prefer not to know about them.

Hang onto your necks A-listers! - you never know whose gonna pop fangs into you when they smile.
Snaparazzi recently hit the launch of the Vuzu channel's new show The Vampire Diaries and our cam grabbed the fanglicious action: Lungsta grew fangs right before our flash (and bit us, yumm), Sade Giliberti got bite-turned into a vamp; and Elana Afrika pretended she didn't want to get necked - but, as you can see, actually did.
Also, spotted: the cast of Cream Cartel (all vampires obviously), Nonhle Thema who hosted the shindig, Amstel - who's currently working on his solo album titled King of the Dancefloor - and Shugasmakx, who tried to bite Proverb but failed 'cos of him being a Survivor.
